Southeast Kansas Recycling

SEK Recycling began as a community effort to keep materials out of the newly-formed landfill in the mid-1990s. Originally operating in the parking lot of Dillons on Saturday mornings, SEK Recycling incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2003 and moved to its current location on the corner of Joplin and Washington streets. We are a group of community members who are passionate about protecting the environment, sustainability, and the long-term wellbeing of our community and its residents.

SEK Recycling is a 501(c)(3) recycling collection center in Pittsburg, KS. We collect recyclable materials from individuals and businesses in the region.
